FillBrush

This is the tab in the Hotspot properties dialog box used to set the FillBrush of the hotspot at design time. The FillBrush of the hotspot is used to paint the color and pattern inside of the hotspot.

Right click on the hospot in the HotImage Designer. Select properties form the dropdown menu to invoke the hotspot properties dialog box. Next select the FillBrush tab. The appearance of the FillBrush tab will change dynamically depending on which Brush type is selectd. Each brush type is explained seperately below. Select one of the following Brush types:

  1. Solid brush: This brush type has a Brush Color property and an Alpha property that must be set:

    • Brush Color: Sets the color of the FillBrush.

    • Alpha: This is the opacity of the FillBruh and is set with the slider. The resultant brush is displayed in the Result section.

  2. HatchBrush: When HatchBrush is selected as the Brush type then the Brush has the following properties that are set:

    • HatchBrush: This is a dropdown where you select a the type of HatchBrush to use for the FillBrush.

    • ForeColor: Here you set the ForeColor of the HatchBrush. Click on the color display box to invoke the Color dialog box and change the color.

    • BackColor: Here you set the BackColor of the HatchBrush. Click on the color display box to invoke the Color dialog box and change the color.

    • Alpha: This is the opacity of the FillBruh and is set with the slider. The resultant brush is displayed in the Result section.

  3. LinearGradientBrush: This brush is a gradient brush and has Direction, Start color, End color, and Alpha properties:

    • Direction: Select the direction of the gradient form the dropdown.

    • StartColor: Here you set the StartColor of the LinearGradientBrush. Click on the color display box to invoke the Color dialog box and change the color.

    • EndColor: Here you set the EndColor of the LinearGradientBrush. Click on the color display box to invoke the Color dialog box and change the color.

    • Alpha: This is the opacity of the FillBruh and is set with the slider. The resultant brush is displayed in the Result section.
