Introduction

Here all the hotspot properties can be set.

Introduction to the hotspot properties dialog.

The hotspot dialog box enables setting of the hotspot properties from the designer. To envoke the hotspot dialog box first bring up the HotImage Designer. Next select the "selection tool" from the toolbox. Now click on a hotspot to select it. Right click on the hotspot and select "Properties..." from the dropdown menu. This will bring up the properties dialog box for the selected hotspot. For ease of use the dialog box has been divided into three tabs these include:

  1. General. Here we set the Text, Description, Name, Hyperlink, Border, VisibleMode and Visible properties of the hotospot.

  2. Annotation.The anotation is a label that is positioned permenantly over the hotspot. The anotation Text, TextBrush, Alignment, OffsetX, OffsetY, BackgroundBrush, Font and Visible properties are set here.

  3. FillBrush. Here you set up the pattern of the fill ie the type of Brush, the opacity of the fill (Alpha) and the color of the fill.
