Resizing hotspots |
How to resize all hotspots...
This feature is useful when you have created hotspots on an image which you later decide to resize outside of the IDE.
Hotspots can be resized to fit a resized image. They are resized by a percentage, which can be from 1% to 300%. Therefore, if the image has been resized by a certain percentage, then, if the hotspots are also resized by exactly the same percentage, they will fit perfectly on the resized image. (Image resizing needs to be done in your own image editing applications.) Note however that once the hotpots are matched to the image size in the designer, then if the Hotimage size is changed in the IDE or at runtime, then the image will stretch to the size of the Hotimage and the hotspots will automatically be resized to fit the image display size for the Hotimage control.
To resize your hotspots:
Open the Hotspot Designer.
Select Tools from the main menu.
Select the Resize Hotspots from the dropdown menu.
Enter the desired resize percentage in the text boxes labeled Horizontal and Vertical. If you wish to maintain the aspect ratio, then these two percentages need to be equal.
Click OK when finished.
